गोवा, 15 दिसम्बर: चेन्नइयन एफसी के तमाम डिफेंसिव प्रयासों पर राहुल भेके का हैडर भारी पड़ा। मुंबई सिटी एफसी के इस डिफेंडर के एकमात्र गोल के कारण हीरो इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईएसएल) 2021-22 में चेन्नइयन के अपराजित रहने का सिलसिला खत्म हो गया। मुंबई सिटी एफसी ने बुधवार को फतौर्डा स्थित पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू स्टेडियम में खेले गए लीग मैच में चेन्नइयन को 1-0 से हराया।  मौजूदा चैम्पियन मुंबई की यह लगातार तीसरी और कुल पांचवी जीत रही। इंग्लिश कोच डेस बकिंगहम की टीम अब तक खेले पांच मैचों से 15 अंक                                                                                                                                                        बटोर करके साथ तालिका में शीर्ष पर बरकरार है। वहीं, चेन्नइयन हार का स्वाद चखने के बाद चौथे से पांचवें स्थान पर लुढ़क गया है। हेड कोच बोजिदार बादोविक की टीम के खाते में चार मैचों में दो जीत और दो ड्रा हैं।  पहले हाफ में चेन्नइयन एफसी की डिफेंस मुंबई को गोल करने से रोकने में सफल रही। लिहाजा, चेन्नइयन की कामयाब डिफेंडिंग के कारण स्कोर 0-0 रहा। हालांकि गेंद पर नियंत्रण मुंबई सिटी का रहा और उसकी ओर से ही ज्यादा हमले बने। लेकिन चेन्नइयन की डिफेंस मजबूत नजर आई। इस दौरान मुंबई सिटी एफसी के स्पेनिश स्ट्राइकर इगोर एंगुलो को दो अवसर जरूर मिले, लेकिन गोल नहीं हुआ। चेन्नइयन एफसी शुरुआत में ही गोल खाने से बच गई। जब 9वें मिनट में उसके गोलकीपर विशाल कैथ अपना गोलपोस्ट छोड़ करके अमेय रानावड़े के लॉब को आगे लपकने से चूक गए थे, लेकिन उनके पास पुहंचे मुंबई सिटी के स्पेनिश स्ट्राइकर इगोर एंगुलो के फ्लिक पर गेंद पोस्ट के बाहर चली गई।    22वें मिनट में एंगुलो अपने शॉट पर नियंत्रण नहीं रख सके और गेंद लक्ष्य से दूर बाहर निकल गई। अहमद जाहौह ने चिप करके गेंद बॉक्स के अंदर एंगुलो को दी थी, लेकिन स्पेनिश स्ट्राइकर गोलपोस्ट की राह नहीं खोज सके।मध्यांतर के तुरंत बाद दूसरे हाफ में चेन्नइयन को गोल मिल सकता था। लेकिन 46वें मिनट में जेरी लालरिंजुआला के क्रॉस बॉक्स के अंदर लुकाज गिकिविक्ज को मिला। पोलिश स्टाइकर गेंद को पूरी तरह से नियंत्रित नहीं कर सके और उनके दूसरे प्रयास को मुंबई के गोलकीपर मोहम्मद नवाज ने ब्लॉक कर दिया।  70वें मिनट में चेन्नइयन की टीम की ओर से एक बार फिर शानदार डिफेंडिंग नजर आई। एक हमले में बॉक्स के बाहर से स्थानापन्न फॉरवर्ड विक्रम प्रताप सिंह के शानदार राइट फुटर शॉट को बेहतरीन डाइव लगाकर गोलची विशाल ने रोका और डिफलेक्शन पर उन्होंने लालेनग्माविआ के शॉट को ब्लॉक किया। अंत में चेन्नइयन के डिफेंडर ने गोललाइन पर शानदार बचाव करते हुए हैडर से गेंद को क्लीयर किया।   मैच का एकमात्र गोल 86वें मिनट पर आया। मैच के ज्यादातर समय तक मुंबई सिटी को रोकने के बाद चेन्नइयन की टीम राहुल भेके से गोल खा बैठी। राहुल ने यह गोल अहमद जाहौह की फ्री-किक पर गेंद को हैडर से गोलपोस्ट के अंदर पहुंचाया। इस गोल से मुंबई 1-0 से आगे हो गई।
